Streatham and Clapham High School is proud to announce the excellent success of our students in their A-Level examination results for 2024. We are thrilled at the significant improvement of the top A* – A grades which have increased by 7% since last year to 45% of all A-Level grades, with 14.5% A* grades. In total, 72% of grades were A* to B and this is reflected in the impressive successes at university entrance, with 74% of students holding places at their first-choice university and 90% placed at their first or second university choice.  

This year, our students have secured places at prestigious universities across the country: 

• Medicine: two of our pupils secured places to study Medicine, including Isabella who achieved three As and will be studying at the University of Liverpool.  

• University of Cambridge: two of our pupils secured places at the University of Cambridge, including our Deputy Head of School, Adrianna, who will be studying Music. 

• Creative Arts: Leila, with an A* and two As, will be studying Graphic Design at the University of Leeds.

• Philosophy: Harriet, who achieved three A*s, will be studying Philosophy at the London School of Economics. 

• One of our students is off to the University of Edinburgh to study Scandinavian Studies and Classics, highlighting the diverse range of subjects our students are pursuing at degree level. 

Success in STEAM Subjects: 

Our commitment to STEAM subjects continues to yield exceptional results.  

• 100% of students studying Further Maths achieved A* to A grades. 

• 100% of students studying Art achieved A* to B grades, with 46% A* grades. 

• 70% of students studying Economics achieved A* to B grades. 

We are also proud of our students’ achievements in Religious Education, where 40% achieved an A* grade, along with 100% of students studying Latin and Italian achieving A* to A grades.
