At Streatham & Clapham Prep School (SCPS), sport plays a vital role in developing confidence, resilience and teamwork. Our recent participation in the Surrey Schools Gymnastics Competition highlighted these values perfectly, with our U11 gymnasts showcasing their incredible talent and dedication on a competitive stage.
Competing at St Catherine’s School, Bramley, our team delivered fantastic routines filled with precision and flair, securing an impressive sixth place finish. This achievement reflects not only their hard work in training but also their ability to perform under pressure. It was a proud moment for everyone involved, as the girls demonstrated determination, skill and impeccable teamwork throughout the event.
We extend our gratitude to St Catherine’s School for hosting such a brilliant competition and creating an inspiring platform for young gymnasts to shine. It was wonderful to see so much talent and enthusiasm across all participating teams.
At SCPS, we believe that sports like gymnastics play an essential role in a well-rounded education. By offering opportunities to engage in competitive and recreational activities, we aim to foster physical fitness, mental discipline, and a spirit of camaraderie. Events like these not only celebrate athletic achievement but also nurture life skills that extend far beyond the gymnasium.
Congratulations to our U11 gymnasts – you’ve made us incredibly proud! Your success is a testament to your commitment and passion and we can’t wait to see what you achieve next.
