Last weekend, members of the L5 undertook their Duke of Edinburgh’s Silver Award practice expedition. This was a three-day expedition to prepare them for their assessed expedition in June. The girls walked for all three days from Longcross to Westhumble and Box Hill. This included planning their routes, navigating and map reading. The girls also cooked meals each day and dealt with the challenging weather admirably. The Lupine staff leading the expedition commented on how well the girls responded to the adverse weather and that they were some of the best groups they had worked with. Well done to all L5 pupils involved.
