On 26 June, Streatham & Clapham High School proudly came together to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our pupils at our annual Speech Day. The event began with a warm welcome from our Chair of Governors, setting the tone for an afternoon filled with reflection and celebration. Our Head, Ms Ellott, alongside the Student Leadership Team, shared thoughtful insights on the year’s highlights and the many ways our community has grown together.
This year, we were honoured to welcome our inspiring guest speaker, Alex Polizzi, hotelier, businesswoman and television personality who captivated guests and students alike with stories of resilience, curiosity and the importance of forging your own path. For those unable to attend in person, the event was streamed live so the whole school community could be part of this special occasion. A stunning musical performance by the Schola Cantorum and Chamber Choir filled the hall, creating an atmosphere of pride and anticipation as we moved into the awards ceremony. From our youngest pupils to our Year 13 leavers, students were recognised for their accomplishments, effort and contributions to every aspect of school life.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our guest speaker for her uplifting words, to our staff and families for their unwavering support, and most importantly, to our pupils for all they have achieved this year. Congratulations to every award winner — you have set a wonderful example of what it means to strive, grow, and give back.
