Prep Admissions

Our school is an all-through independent day school for girls aged 3 to 18 located closely together across two sites in south west London. The principal points of entry into the Prep School are Nursery (3+), Reception (4+) and Year 3 (7+). 

Reception forms part of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Our focus is on building strong foundations for happiness, self-confidence and academic success. With a trailblazing curriculum, girls receive specialist teaching in subjects like French, Music and Physical Education (PE), alongside coding, phonics and outdoor learning. Small class sizes ensure individualised attention. Our award-winning facilities include a purpose-built gymnasium, dedicated music room, and expansive outdoor play areas that encourage risk-taking, resilience and teamwork. As a through-school, we support girls from Nursery to Sixth Form.

In Year 3, our school expands from one form to two forms of entry, allowing us to welcome a significant number of new pupils from other local schools.

From Reception to Year 6, the school provides a rich curriculum that balances traditional academic subjects with creative and physical education. The school emphasises individualised learning, ensuring each girl is challenged and supported to achieve her best. Extra-curricular activities, pastoral care, and state-of-the-art facilities further enhance the holistic development of every pupil, fostering a love of learning and preparing them for future success.

Before the school can consider any candidate for entry, an application form must be completed and submitted, together with: 

• a non-refundable registration fee (refer to School Fees for further details)

• a current photograph 

• your daughter’s most recent school report 

• a copy of her passport (or birth certificate if passport is unavailable) 

Once you have applied for a 7+ space within our SCPS family, your daughter will be invited to visit us for an assessment morning on 19 November 2026. Pupils will complete written assessments in Maths, English (reading comprehension and writing) and participate in a fun and engaging team building activity. Our assessments are age-appropriate and designed to be a positive experience for the girls completing them.
