
At Streatham & Clapham High School, we recognise that a girl’s physical and emotional wellbeing is closely linked to her academic success. The House system is at the heart of our community. Every pupil joins one of five Houses: Carter, Fawcett, Franklin, Knights or Paston Brown, each named after an influential woman who made a significant contribution to society. The Houses bring pupils together across year groups for competitions, charity events, music and sport, while fostering friendships, school spirit and leadership. Led by a Head of House and supported by pupil House Captains, the system ensures each girl feels known, valued and supported from her very first day.
