At Streatham & Clapham High School, we recognise that a girl’s physical and emotional wellbeing is closely linked to her academic success. The House system is at the heart of our community. Every pupil joins one of five Houses: Carter, Fawcett, Franklin, Knights or Paston Brown, each named after an influential woman who made a significant contribution to society. The Houses bring pupils together across year groups for competitions, charity events, music and sport, while fostering friendships, school spirit and leadership. Led by a Head of House and supported by pupil House Captains, the system ensures each girl feels known, valued and supported from her very first day.

SCHS Boat Club Fundraising Dinner
The SCHS Boat Club was delighted to host their first ever fundraising dinner, welcoming around a hundred students, family members and staff for a delicious two course meal.
