At a time of febrile international conflict and today’s good news of a tentative ceasefire in Lebanon, the art of listening seems more important than ever. Amidst the noise of conflict, I admire those who actively listen to understand.

SCHS is proud to celebrate alumna Nadine White, a multi-award-winning journalist and filmmaker whose work has made her one of Britain’s leading voices reporting on race, justice and inequality.

For teenagers, positive wellbeing is becoming increasingly important due to the rise of social media alongside academic pressure during GCSE’s and A Levels.

Sixth Form students from SCHS, Putney High School and Sutton High School were invited by the US Embassy to attend the Freedom 250 lecture series.

The Futures & Aspirations programme at Streatham & Clapham High School plays a central role in preparing students for life beyond the classroom and the rapidly evolving world of work. Designed to build confidence, independence, and clarity about post‑18 pathways, the programme offers a rich blend of personalised guidance, meaningful work experience, and exposure to industry experts. 

We are very proud of our Head, teachers, Sixth Form students and parents who collectively raised over £9,000 for Masicorp at the Battersea Half Marathon.
