We are delighted to celebrate our incredible outgoing Head Girl for receiving the prestigious Mo Bosch scholarship. This GDST award is aimed at Year 13 students planning to pursue degrees in journalism, media, or communications at university and it has a focus on women in leadership and education.
She wrote in her application that “My passion for women’s rights and equality has developed throughout my time at my all-girls school.”

“My yearbook quote ‘I would choose to be a Streatham girl in every lifetime’ genuinely reflects how transformative a GDST education has been for me. It’s the first time I’ve been in an environment that was truly designed for women and it has made me more confident, more outspoken and more aware of the importance of creating spaces where women can thrive.”
Former Head Girl, 2026 – 27

Her accomplishments are numerous; she represented SCHS at the Haileybury Model United Nations conference and took the initiative to organise ‘The Agora: Current Affairs Night’. This event successfully brought together students from various schools, creating a platform for young individuals to engage in discussions on pressing issues such as US politics, climate change, and freedom of speech. She was awarded the prestigious Shackleton Award for her efforts.
During her tenure as Head Girl, she collaborated with the Deputy Heads to foster inclusivity, organising assemblies focused on neurodiversity and Iftar gatherings. In her interview for Head Girl, she remarked that her aspiration was to be the first female, black Prime Minister. We have no doubt that this is achievable for her!
Well done to her on this prestigious award; we are thrilled that she has been rightly celebrated for all that she has achieved and all that she will achieve in the future.
