Streatham & Clapham High School is proud to announce the excellent success of our students in their A Level examination results for 2025. This year, 33% of all grades awarded were at A* – A compared with 28% nationally, while 68% were at A* – B, reflecting the exceptional talent, dedication and determination of our Sixth Form students. These successes have led to outstanding university outcomes, with 92% of students securing a place at their first or second-choice institution. Of these, 87% will attend Russell Group universities, and four pupils have received unconditional offers.
Outstanding Individual Achievements
There were outstanding individual achievements. Cecily secured a place at the University of Cambridge to read History. Bella will read Politics and International Relations at the University of Bath, while Alice will read Biomedical Sciences at the University of Newcastle. Phoebe will also join the University of Bath to read Mathematics, Statistics and Data Science having also achieved full marks for her A Level Music performance. Other achievements in Drama include Izzy who gained full marks for her Text in Performance unit, Lucy who gained full marks for her group performance, Bea who gained full marks for her monologue and Maariya who gained full marks for her group scripted performance.
Outstanding subject-specific performances were seen across the curriculum. In Art, 56% of pupils achieved an A*, with 100% achieving A* – B. In Politics, 29% attained A* – A. Drama saw 40% at A* and 100% at A* – B. In PE, 57% of grades were A*, while Religious Studies achieved 100% at A* – B. In Economics, 27% of grades were at A and 60% at B.
Students embark on diverse degree path
Students are progressing to an impressive range of university courses, spanning highly competitive STEM, arts and humanities degrees, including Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Mathematics, Environmental Science with Business Management, Mathematics and Data Science, Computer Science, Chemistry, Geography, Interior Design and Fine Art, with 54% off to study social sciences.

Overall, the 2025 A Level results highlight exceptional individual performances, notable progress across the cohort and remarkable subject successes. They are a testament to the hard work of our students and the expertise of our staff.
