Our Alumnae Reunion Afternoon Tea on International Women’s Day was a truly special gathering, uniting SCHS alumnae from 1955 to the present day. It was a joyous occasion, a chance to reconnect, reminisce and celebrate the achievements of the incredible women who have shaped and been shaped by our school.
The afternoon began with an insightful presentation by alumna Elaine Wein, who shared the fascinating stories of ‘The Women of Lambeth’, highlighting the strength and impact of women throughout history.
We were then warmly welcomed by Ms Cathy Ellott, Head of SCHS, before hearing from our Student Leadership Team, who spoke passionately about their vision for the future.
A standout moment of the event was the moving and deeply personal talk from alumna Simoney Kyriakou, who spoke about the life-changing impact of receiving a bursary to SCHS. She shared how this opportunity was fundamental to her success, and her words resonated so powerfully that there were tears in the room.
This gathering was a reminder of the enduring strength of the SCHS community. Whether decades apart or just a few years out of school, our alumnae continue to inspire, support and empower one another.
Thank you to everyone who joined us; your stories, successes and continued connection to SCHS make our community stronger than ever.
