We are beyond proud to celebrate the incredible achievement of our U11 hockey squad, who have been crowned London Schools Hockey 7-a-side champions! This victory is a testament to their hard work, resilience and outstanding teamwork.
The competition saw our team face some of the strongest opponents in the region. The day started with an emphatic 3-0 win, setting the tone for their performance. A narrow 0-1 loss in the second match only fuelled their determination, and they responded with an exhilarating 3-2 victory – securing their place as overall champions!
This triumph reflects not only the girls’ dedication and passion for hockey but also the unwavering support of our teachers and coaches, who continually inspire and nurture a love for sport at SCPS. Their guidance ensures that our pupils develop not only technical skills but also perseverance, leadership and sportsmanship – qualities that extend far beyond the hockey pitch.
