Offer Holder Events

Parents of offer-holders are invited to a Q&A session with our Senior Leadership Team. This is an ideal opportunity to hear from our Head, Ms Cathy Ellott, about how the school’s family environment and visionary approach leads to impressive results thanks to its commitment to celebrating and nurturing the whole girl as an individual. Senior staff, Head of Year, Heads of Department and Admissions will also be present at the Q&A to answer any questions about senior school life at Streatham & Clapham High School. 

This event will take place in person and will not be recorded or filmed.

All offer-holders, including those currently on the waiting list, are warmly invited to Carpe Diem, a celebratory event for SCHS offer-holders. Carpe Diem is an exciting celebratory occasion that offers all prospective pupils the chance to explore SCHS life through a range of engaging activities. This year’s ‘Our World’ theme will enable the opportunity to make new friends and participate in a variety of thrilling activities. With 16 exciting activity choices on offer – ranging from a DT & Engineering session to design your very own solar-powered transport prototype, to a musical adventure where you’ll create atmospheric soundscapes inspired by the natural rhythms of our planet – we encourage early registration of preferred activities.

Please follow the steps below to register your daughter’s preferred Carpe Diem activities.

Step Two: Submit your five activity choices using the link below by Friday 13 February.  

On the day, each pupil will participate in only two activities, and girls will be grouped to provide them with an opportunity to make new friends. Parents are welcome to join us towards the end of Carpe Diem, from 11:15 to 11:45, to meet the Senior Leadership Team or address any queries to the Admissions Team.

All offer holders, including those on the waiting list, are warmly invited to Carpe Diem, a celebratory event for SCHS offer-holders on Thursday 26 February from 08:45 – 11:45.

Pupils should wear their labelled SCHS woolly hat and trainers, bring a labelled water bottle, avoid wearing jewellery, dress in warm and comfortable clothing. Please avoid bringing bags or devices.

To secure your daughter’s place at SCHS, please accept the offer online using the unique link provided in your offer email. You will need to:

• Provide passport details
• Enter bill payer information
• Set up a direct debit
• Digitally sign the parental agreement

A £1,000 retained deposit is required, which will be refunded at the end of your daughter’s final term, minus any outstanding balance. All bill payers and those with parental responsibility must review and sign the contract by midday on Tuesday, 3 March 2026. For assistance, contact admissions@schs.gdst.net.

Saturday 20 June – Friends of SCHS Summer Fair

A fun-packed day organised by the Friends of SCHS on Saturday 20 June from 13:00 – 16:00 featuring crafts and stalls, BBQ, entertainment, live music, as well as our Pre-Loved Uniform Sale (13:00-14:30). 

Tuesday 30 June – Year 7 Induction Morning 

Our Year 7 Induction Morning on Tuesday 30 June is designed to warmly welcome both pupils and parents to SCHS. Pupils will participate in activities focused on excitement, connection & belonging. Pupils will meet her Head of House and Head of Year, spend time in their form rooms, tour the school and take part in form activities. Meanwhile, parents will attend a separate induction to learn about a typical school day, how to access school systems, and meet their daughter’s form teachers, the Head of Year 7, and the Senior Leadership Team. Further details will be shared in due course. 

Wednesday 8 July – Billings & Edmonds Uniform Sale

Our school uniform suppliers, Billings & Edmonds, will be at the Senior school offering a personal fitting service and opportunity to purchase school uniform. Please note that fittings will be available throughout the day by appointment only; details on how to book will be shared in due course. Friday 4 September – Autumn Induction Morning

Pupils will begin their Senior school life with a dedicated induction morning designed to help girls feel confident, welcomed and excited about starting senior school. During the morning, pupils will meet key staff and their Head of Year, spend time with their form group and become familiar with the school site and daily routines. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, make new friends and experience the supportive, inclusive atmosphere of life at Streatham & Clapham High School.

First day of lessons start on Monday 7 September from 08:25 – 15:55.
