At Streatham & Clapham Prep School, we are proud to celebrate the achievements of our young athletes who took part in the recent Mini Marathon, held as part of the London Marathon. Their determination, team spirit and resilience shone brightly as they raced alongside hundreds of other young runners, embodying the Prep School’s values of courage, perseverance and joy in participation.

The event was not just about finishing times, it was a wonderful celebration of community, commitment and personal achievement. Opportunities like the Mini Marathon are an important part of life at SCPS. Physical education and sport are central to our holistic approach to education, promoting wellbeing, building confidence and helping pupils to develop valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership and resilience.

Beyond the Mini Marathon, our co-curricular programme offers a rich variety of sporting opportunities for every child. From netball, hockey and football to swimming, athletics and gymnastics, our pupils are encouraged to discover new passions, hone their skills and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. Whether competing in fixtures and tournaments or simply enjoying sport for fun, every pupil is supported to flourish and thrive.

We warmly invite prospective families to visit us and discover more about the vibrant and diverse opportunities available at SCPS. Our outstanding co-curricular programme, including Sport, Music, Art, Drama and much more, ensures that every child has the chance to shine beyond the classroom.

If you would like to learn more about how SCPS can offer your child a joyful, inspiring start to their educational journey, we would be delighted to welcome you to one of our Open Events.
