
Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE)
PSHE is central to the Prep school’s mission of nurturing well-rounded individuals. The programme covers topics such as mental health, relationships, digital safety and economic well-being. Pupils learn essential life skills, including decision-making, empathy and resilience. The school also emphasises mindfulness and well-being, helping girls manage stress and build positive relationships.

Supporting Safe, Balanced Digital Lives at SCHS
To support digital wellbeing, SCHS has adopted a clear and considered mobile phone policy for younger pupils. Recognising the potential risks of early, unfiltered smartphone use, SCHS asks that Year 7 and 8 pupils do not bring smartphones, or any internet‑enabled phone, into school.
