At Streatham & Clapham High School, we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our alumnae who excel in various fields.
Dr Anne Marie Szarewski was a distinguished clinician and medical researcher, renowned for her pivotal role in developing the HPV vaccine. Her expertise earned her recognition from ‘The Lancet’, which praised her effectiveness as a clinician, educator, and communicator, particularly in engaging with non-expert audiences. Dr Szarewski’s dedication to public health and her contributions to medical research have left a lasting impact, making her a prominent figure in the fight against cervical cancer and a source of inspiration for future generations.
These inspiring stories reflect the diverse paths our alumnae have taken since their time at SCHS. As they navigate their careers, they continue to uplift and support one another, reinforcing the strong bonds formed during their school years.
If you are an alumna with a story to share, we would love to hear from you! Your experiences can inspire others and contribute to the vibrant community we cherish at Streatham & Clapham High School.
