Academic Scholarships
11+ Senior School
Academic scholars are expected to play an active role in the school community, pursuing and inspiring intellectual rigour and enquiry.
All applicants are considered for academic scholarships so there is no need to complete a special form nor indicate your desire to be considered for an academic scholarship on the application form.
Academic scholarships are generally worth between 5% and 20% of the school fees and are awarded at Head’s discretion.
Academic scholarships are not mutually exclusive from specialty scholarships nor bursaries. Girls can receive both types of scholarships and/or one or both types of scholarships plus a bursary (if their family qualifies financially for it).
16+ Sixth Form
We award a number of academic scholarships to both internal and external Sixth Form candidates on the basis of a written assessment and interview.

All Year 12 pupils who wish to be considered for an academic scholarship, whether current pupils or those joining us externally, must complete an academic scholarship application form.
