Prep School Admissions
Our main intakes for the Prep School are Early Years (Nursery and Reception) and Year 3, which girls enter in the September following their seventh birthday. We sometimes have occasional places in other years, please contact us at admissions@schs.gdst.net.

5+ Entry
For girls from schools that include Reception, or families looking for chance vacancies, this year we can welcome pupils directly into our Year 1 for September 2023. Please contact prep@schs.gdst.net to book a tour and discuss this option.
In order to apply you will need:
- A passport photo of your daughter as .jpg or .png (no more than 1MB)
- Your daughter’s most recent school report
- Copy of Child’s passport or birth certificate
- Payment card for £150 (£175 for overseas) registration fee

Assessment Process
3+ and 4+ Assessments
Once you have applied for a space within our SCPS family, your daughter will be invited to visit us for an informal play based assessment. The visit will last for approximately 30 minutes and will take place within our EYFS setting.
Girls are invited onsite to engage in “free play” as well as playing simple games 1:1 with a member of our EYFS team. There is no need for your daughter to undergo any preparation before their visit – it is our hope and aspiration for every girl who comes onsite to have a positive experience, wanting to come back for more!

7+ Assessments 2024
Once you have applied for a space within our SCPS family, your daughter will be invited to visit us for an assessment morning in November 2023. Girls will complete written assessments in Maths, English (reading comprehension and writing) and will participate in a fun and engaging team building activity! Our tests are age appropriate and are designed to be a positive experience for the girls completing them.
Following the assessment a written report is requested from the candidate’s current school prior to an offer being made.
