Last term, Dr Agnes Kaposi FIEE FREng, a British-Hungarian engineer, educator, author and Holocaust survivor, addressed our girls with an unsettling, sobering and captivating account of her life.

During the Q&A session that followed, the girls showed empathy and curiosity, exploring themes such as ‘How did you keep faith during the war?’ and, ‘How were you treated by your peers when you went back to school?’

Inspiring pupils to be brave, resilient and hard-working, Dr Kaposi laid bare the tragedies experienced by many families during the Holocaust and the enduring impact on the lives of millions of people.
