Dom Nicholls (father of Cydney and Matilda in Year 3) was the first parent to give an online Careers Talk for our girls in Years 5 and 6 as part of our programme of Guided Home Learning. He told some wonderful stories from when he flew Gazelle helicopters for the British Army (including one invovling a face-off with a bull elephant!) and then described how he took advantage of his love of talking to people and writing to become a journalist.

He currently writes for The Daily Telegraph as their Defence and Security Correspondent. The girls were fascinated by what he talked about and asked a number of great questions afterwards. A huge thank you to him and to all the girls who joined us after the usual school day had finished!
