Seven of Our Girls Stand Out in BBC Story Contest

Earlier this year, pupils from the Prep spent time writing their own short stories for the BBC’s 500 Words competition. All of the girls showed lots of perseverance as they edited and redrafted their work until they finally felt they had their polished pieces. We’re pleased to report that the following girls were successful in the first round: Sophia R (Y3), Emily GS (Y3), Rosie S (Y3), Théa (Y3), Bea T (Y4), Jasmyn L (Y5) Tabi C (Y5). Well done girls!

This is a huge achievement, as this year there were over 135,000 entries and only 5,000 were chosen for the next round. We wish them the best of luck in the next round of the competition.
