It is with deep sadness that our school community learned of the imminent closure of Old Palace School. We appreciate this is a challenging time for families, students and staff in the South London area.  Since learning this news, Streatham & Clapham High School has been committed to ensuring a fair and equitable admissions process for all prospective candidates who wished to pursue an application with us for a chance place vacancy, subject to performance in a formal admissions assessment and places being available in the respective year groups.

We operated a limited registration window from the morning of Friday 22^nd September – Sunday 1^st October (midnight) during which we invited prospective families from Old Palace who had contacted our school to submit a formal registration. Registered families were subsequently invited for an age-appropriate admissions assessment in English and Mathematics scheduled for Friday 6^th October. On this day, families will also be attending a parents-only welcome talk from our Head, Ms. Cathy Ellott, in addition to a tour of the school

As we have had a large volume of interest for an extremely limited number of places, we are unfortunately no longer able to accept any further registrations for a chance vacancy in any year group this academic year.

Applying for September 2024

We are gladly welcoming registrations into Years 7 (11+) and Year 12 (16+) for September 2024 entry. Please refer to the standard admissions processes for these regular entry points. Kindly note that our registration deadline for regular entry at Year 7 (11+) and Year 12 (16+) is 31^st October 2023.
