Musical Instrument and/or Singing Tuition
We are delighted to offer pupils the opportunity to learn a musical instrument or take singing lessons. Lessons are delivered by a team of visiting teachers. Pupils follow a structured course in technique and repertoire developing their confidence as performers. Learning an instrument or taking singing lessons brings with it a host of additional benefits, including the development of self-esteem, communication skills, co-ordination skills and self-discipline. Participation in co-curricular music encourages the development of social awareness, team building and leadership skills as well as offering opportunities for visiting new places and meeting new people. If you would like your daughter to take instrumental/singing lessons at school, please complete the form by Friday 29 September via the link below. The following options are available:
Click here to read information about lessons and the terms & conditions.
30-minute lessons run though the school day on a rolling timetable (the rolling timetable avoids students missing the same lesson each week).

Students can choose Acting Exams or Public speaking Exams.
(Grades/ exam options advised by teacher)
The Yearly LAMDA tuition fee £395 is billed in September 2023 and covers the full 25 sessions.
Exam fee £40-80 ( per student ) will be billed directly by school in the summer term.
Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Act operate an a waiting list system. You will be sent an email confirming your daughter’s place which will include an invoice for the yearly fee of £395. Please contact the LAMDA team if you wish to discuss a payment plan.

At Streatham and Clapham High School we have introduced a digital strategy that facilitates an any-time, any-place approach to learning. Our aim is to embed technology seamlessly in the learning experience; fostering independence, creativity and digital collaboration between pupils and staff.
We operate a one-to-one device policy, and each student must bring a Windows laptop with a touchscreen and stylus to school each day.
We have developed a comprehensive set of guidelines and procedures to help ensure that your daughter is using her device in an appropriate and responsible manner. We will also provide training and support to help her use her laptop effectively and safely.
We are also running an optional Digital Device Scheme which allows parents to rent or purchase a Dell device through our partner, Easy4U (Class Technology Solutions), including a device full hardware service and accident damage cover.
