Remembrance Day | Streatham & Clapham High School

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day this year marked 100 years since the first time Armistice Day was remembered.

Our school community stood shoulder to shoulder – whether choosing to wear a red poppy, a white poppy, or no poppy – to pay our respects to all the men and women who have died in conflict.

After the Head Master’s talk, the Head Girl team read Moina Michael’s poem “We Shall Keep the Faith” before The Last Post was played.
